Head Station is telling where the presenting part of baby is
in relation to the ischial spines. (sitz bones).
How to interpret :
Maximum score: 13
A Score of 6 or higher (favorable) indicates that the cervix
is ripe and induction would have a higher probability of being successful. A
Score of 9 or higher indicates a very high probability of induction being successful.
A score of 5 or less is said to be ‘unfavorable’. It shows
mother is a candidate for cervical ripening prior to induction
